Springboard Launches Free Remote Career Coaching for All

SAN FRANCISCO, March 30, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Springboard, the online learning platform that bridges the skills gap, announced today the launch of a free weekly career coaching "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) program, featuring expert advice typically reserved for its students. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to impact the US workforce, with over 3.3 million unemployment claims attributed to date, Springboard's career coaching team is offering the general public expert job search advice to prepare for a post-pandemic economy.

"In these past few weeks, we've seen the livelihoods of millions being impacted, with many others concerned about their job prospects in an impending recession," said Gautam Tambay, Springboard's CEO & co-founder. "In this time of uncertainty, we wanted to support the most vulnerable--those facing layoffs or in fear of losing their jobs--by making publicly available our career coaching services, enabling people to position themselves for a brighter future."

The Springboard AMA series will help job seekers discover the next steps in their careers by utilizing Springboard's professional career counseling and career skills training -- two core strengths that distinguish the platform from other online learning programs.

The theme of the first AMA, to be held this Wednesday, April 1, is "Leveraging Virtual Networks and Resources." Springboard's career services manager, Allison Matthews, who coaches students globally and has helped place hundreds of job seekers anywhere from startups to Fortune 500 companies, will be fielding questions from the audience. She has over 12 years of experience working with and for companies across the country in industries such as tech, government, engineering, energy, education, and more.

The AMA will be held every Wednesday, starting April 1 from 3:30-4:30pm Eastern Time/12:30-1:30pm Pacific Time. To register and submit questions, visit Learn.Springboard.com/career-coach-ama.

The Springboard team feels fortunate to be able to support the community during this time by opening up to everyone the world-class career coaching services that are usually reserved for our enrolled students. We hope that in this time, many more individuals and organizations will come out to help in support of friends, family, neighbors, and the global community at large.
