Berg announces they are now distributing the Q2 ION, Q4 TASMAN and Q8 MAGELLAN, the next generation of Bruker optical emission spectrometers (OES). The Q2 ION model is one of the smallest and lightest, ultra-compact OES on the market, and is light enough to be carried. The unit's optimized argon flow and material adapters make it ideal for analyzing small components like tubes and fittings. The Q8 MAGELLAN has been called the perfect metals analyzer. It is the only vacuum-spectrometer featuring new-generation photomultipliers, digital plasma generator, unlimited single-spark and time resolution and a heavy duty low-maintenance spark stand with co-axial argon flow.
