RCN, Grande and Wave Business Announce Updates to Unified Communications as a Service Product

PRINCETON, N.J., June 9, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- RCN, Grande and Wave Business Solutions, a communications provider delivering mission-critical fiber infrastructure solutions in seven of the top 10 metro markets across the United States today announced innovative updates to its Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) product, further building upon its voice portfolio. The additions, including ConnectNow, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Integration and Attendant Console, provide RCN, Grande and Wave Business Solutions customers and their end-users with even more advanced and efficient communications tools to operate.

ConnectNow is a video and audio-conferencing service through which a moderator can initiate a conference meeting with only a few clicks and invite anywhere from four to 500 attendees. With CRM integration, customers can use RCN, Grande and Wave's UCaaS product to connect with multiple customer relationship management products. It also provides enhanced screen pop-ups for inbound calls that include the ability to open the caller's record directly and click-to-dial functionality. Additions also include Attendant Console, a downloadable and licensed software that enables an individual to manage multiple incoming calls simultaneously and seamlessly. This feature includes an incoming call dashboard, email collaboration and instant messenger (IM) integration.

The new features are available as add-on services or bundled within RCN, Grande and Wave's UCaaS service. In addition, they come with a soft phone client which makes implementation, even to remote teams, fast and easy and further enables the remote workstyle many organizations are moving towards.
