OFX Appoints Former Visa Executive to US and Canadian Board of Directors

A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Shen joins OFX with more than 35 years of legal and compliance experience. Shen began his career as a trial attorney and criminal prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice, served in private practice at the Washington, D.C. law firm Perkins Coie, was Deputy Director of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Superfund Enforcement Division, and was Chief Counsel of the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Hazardous and Solid Waste Remediation. He previously held roles including Global Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer for American Express, Paypal, General Electric's Commercial Finance business, and most recently Chief Compliance Officer of Visa, Inc.

He served on the Board of Advisors of the Society for Corporate Compliance & Ethics from 2006 to 2008 and was Chairman of the Board of the San Francisco Bay Area Ethics and Compliance Association from 2013 to 2017.

In addition to his newly-appointed role at OFX, Shen serves as a Board member of HomeFirst, Silicon Valley's largest provider of services and shelter to the homeless.
