17a-4's SharePoint Online DataParser is released in General Availability
MILLBROOK, N.Y., Oct. 20, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- 17a-4, LLC has released SharePoint Online DataParser in general availability. DataParser is the leading compliance solution to bring third-party data into any archive. SharePoint in Microsoft 365 helps organizations share and manage content and applications empowering teamwork and seamless collaboration across an organization.
SharePoint Online DataParser is now available. Custom lists, libraries, pages, wikis and apps can all be collected. DataParser can be configured to collect all or specific content within a site. Output is customizable allowing clients to choose what metadata is included. SharePoint Online data can be captured and delivered to any archive location.
"We are focused on developing compliant solutions that ensure full chain-of-custody so clients can use the best and latest technologies for teamwork and collaboration," said Charles Weeden, Managing Partner of 17a-4.
The new module of DataParser will be added to the already robust supported interface list joining Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Server, Skype, Yammer, Cisco's Jabber, Slack, Symphony, Eikon Messenger, Bloomberg and more. As with all DataParser interfaces, SharePoint Online data is formatted into EMLs with metadata and chats in the body and files attached.
DataParser has no impact on the collected data source networks or destination archives. Users' chat and collaboration activities are not disrupted by the DataParser's processes and Compliance officers do not have to make changes to eDiscovery procedures. All ingested data sources are fully indexed and searchable via typical eDiscovery queries.
All major archiving technologies are supported by DataParser allowing clients to leverage in house resources and keep compliance costs to a minimum. VMs are supported, including AWS and Azure. Message delivery options include the ability to send via SMTP into an archive, to a file location or a mailbox. The third-party data endpoint for clients using Office 365 for archiving is also supported.
DataParser offers on-premise and hosted plans. For more information about the upcoming DataParser releases visit 17a-4.com.
