Kinetics Noise Control Appoints Charles Merrimon as New President
DUBLIN, Ohio, Jan. 5, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Kinetics Noise Control Inc. (Kinetics) is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Merrimon (C.M.) as President of Kinetics Noise Control. In this critical role, Merrimon will lead all aspects of the Kinetics Noise Control business and will be a key member of the Catalyst Acoustics Group Senior Leadership Team.
Charles joins Kinetics equipped with over 25 years of experience in highly engineered products and solutions. He graduated with a BS of Engineering from the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY and then went on to serve our country as an officer in the United States Army Corps of Engineers for five years. After completing his service, Merrimon was accepted into the General Electric leadership development program for transitioning officers where he achieved continuous professional growth and was exceptionally effective in meeting the leadership objectives and expectations. The extensive formal business training and hands-on experience he gained at GE prepared him for even greater responsibilities.
Charles has spent the last decade in senior level positions within the IMI Critical Engineering Company. Based in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, he served as the President of the Americas for the Control Components Inc. business unit and was then promoted to President of the Americas for the entire IMI Critical Engineering Business. In this role, he led a $200m business with over 600 employees and 5 manufacturing locations. In his tenure, he was critical in driving commercial growth and operational improvements that created considerable value for customers and employees.
