MIC Bankcard is a program of Pineapple Payments, now part of Fiserv. The MIC Bankcard Program operates in conjunction with its association partner, the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC). Furthering its dedication to the MIC and the Powersports industry, Pineapple Payments provided a substantial financial investment to the MIC’s Ridership Initiative earlier this year.

“The Motorcycle Industry Council has this amazing vision for growing ridership and inspiring new riders,” said Jon Halpern, Pineapple Payments General Manager. “Supporting the industry means giving attention to every phase of the Powersports experience.”

A key benefit of the MIC Bankcard Program is what it gives back to dealers. Participating dealers receive complimentary membership to the MIC, providing access to proprietary industry statistics, sales data, educational events, and representation on industry-related issues.

“There is a real need to advance the Powersports industry and create a better environment for dealers to be successful,” added Lisa Delaney, MIC Membership Manager. “Not only does the MIC Bankcard Program give dealers more control over their payment processing, but it also gives them more control over their business and industry success.”

Strategic leadership additions to the team further capitalize on the company’s commitment to better serve Powersports dealers, not just on payments expertise alone but leveraging industry know-how as well. Ray Smith, an industry expert with thirty-eight years of experience in the Powersports and Marine business, was appointed to lead the MIC Bankcard Program team. Working alongside Smith are fellow industry veterans, bringing over fifty years of combined experience at the dealer/manufacturer level.

“MIC Bankcard Program was strategically created to help support growth and prosperity for Powersports professionals through lowering dealership costs and increasing industry engagement. We’re Powersports people helping Powersports people,” said Smith.

With the expansion of dealer-focused payment solutions led by a team of industry professionals, MIC Bankcard strives to become the preferred payments provider to Powersports dealers. Dealers looking to learn more about the MIC Bankcard Program can contact savings@micbankcard.com.
