Arctic Glacier Premium Ice Acquires Massachusetts Brookline Ice Company

Arctic Glacier, LLC, a leading provider of premium ice products and related services, announces the acquisition of the bulk ice manufacturing, dry ice, and distribution business of Brookline Ice Company of Boston, MA. This transaction further builds on the packaged ice company’s capability to serve customers across North America.

Brookline Ice Company, owned and operated by the Signore Family, has taken great pride in their production of quality bulk, cocktail and dry ice with daily delivery service to the retail, food service and hospitality industries of greater Boston since the early 1900’s. The ice company’s production and storage facility located in the Boston, will add significant capacity to Arctic Glacier’s expansive North American footprint.

The acquisition of Brookline Ice Company follows the October 2021 acquisition of Getchell Bros in Bangor and Sanford, ME. The combination of these two transactions, along with the ice company’s production facilities in Rutland, VT and Albany, NY enables Arctic Glacier to offer direct service of their certified, food-safe packaged ice to customers throughout the greater New England area.
