PCS-Mosaic Holdings Welcomes Intelligence Community Veteran and Technology Entrepreneur Larry Cox to Board of Managers

Leading national security firm PCS-Mosaic Holdings today announced that 40-year intelligence community veteran and technology entrepreneur Larry Cox has joined its Board of Managers. In this role, Cox will join with other industry leaders and influencers providing strategic insight and guidance to PCS-Mosaic as it continues to grow and evolve its delivery of mission-critical support to intelligence and national security customers.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Larry to our Board of Managers,” said Pierre Chao, chairman of PCS-Mosaic. “He brings a depth of understanding of our customers, their challenges and the rapidly changing threat landscape through his many decades of experience as a thought leader, innovator and solutions provider in both industry and government.”

Cox is a recognized expert in cybersecurity, intelligence and defense systems, and business management. He is currently president of Western Slopes Security Services and chief operations officer of Eclipse Technology. Cox previously was senior vice president and general manager of SAIC’s Cyber and Information Solutions business, which grew under Cox’s leadership from $200 million to $700 million, with over 2,400 professionals supporting the nation’s most vital cyber and signals intelligence missions.

“Larry is an invaluable national resource, especially at a time when the challenges in the cyber and SIGINT domains are becoming increasingly complex,” added Tom Middleton, CEO. “For PCS-Mosaic, he brings a rare mix of mission focus, technological acumen and business experience as we enter our next stage of growth.”

Before SAIC, Cox founded, developed and sold Orincon Sygenex Inc. to Lockheed Martin, where he continued to serve as vice president of SIGINT strategy. Earlier in his career, Cox held senior positions on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, at General Electric and within the national intelligence community. He is an active member of the cyber and SIGINT community today, serving on government and industry boards such as the Air Force Association’s CyberPatriot Board of Advisors.

“PCS-Mosaic is doing essential work that is incredibly important to our nation’s security, especially in the areas of cyber and SIGINT,” said Cox. “I’m excited to join the board at this crucial time in history during which PCS-Mosaic’s work is so vital. I look forward to assisting in the development of its team and bringing insight that will allow the company to best support its customers’ most critical missions.”

Cox holds a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Maryland.
