BAE Systems, Inc. Releases Second Annual Impact Report on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Today, BAE Systems, Inc. released Caring for our People, Culture, and Communities, the company’s second annual report highlighting the significant progress made in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Caring for our People, Culture, and Communities follows A Decade of Progress, the company’s first-ever report, which detailed its efforts over the past ten years toward increasing DEI in the workplace. It includes information about our current employee population, employee spotlights that illustrate the company’s goals in action, and an overview of company-wide DEI strategy, goals, and aspirations.

Key accomplishments in 2021 include:

  • Increasing gender and racial diversity in senior leadership roles.
  • Growing employee resource group membership by 11%.
  • Embedding accountability for DEI within all people leaders’ performance and development objectives.
  • Launching a new sponsorship program for people of color.
