UK delays approving London Gatwick airport expansion
The UK government Thursday signalled it will approve expansion of London's Gatwick airport pending closer examination of the proposed project's environmental impact, delaying a final decision until late October.
Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander said she was "minded to approve" the privately-financed project estimated to cost £2.2 billion ($2.8 billion)....
