GAMMA Technical Corporation, based in Budapest, Hungary, was founded in 1920, and during its 90 year of existence it became one of the largest companies producing NBC defense instruments in the Eastern-European region.
The reputation of the company has been established by the expertise of its engineers who contributed to the region’s technical development with many inventions and registered patents.
Gamma was the first in Hungary to develop and produce nuclear and chemical defense instruments in the 1960s, and is still continues to develop instruments with the purpose of protection, for the use of the Hungarian Defence Forces, the Hungarian Civil Defense and for environmental protection.
Nowadays, in addition to the production, maintenance and authentication of earlier developed instruments, Gamma is developing and introducing several environment protection, civil defense and military used instruments and devices, in the first place. Among these are civil and military use radiation measuring devices, scintillation crystals, monitoring systems and meteorological stations.
The common characteristic of our devices is that their microcomputers receive algorithms implementing new measuring methods. As a result of that simple operation and construction based on military requirements are accompanied with customer friendly services.
By the ceasing of the double-poled world system, the threatening danger of atomic attacks has decreased, but smuggling nuclear materials, industrial accidents and the possibility of terrorist attacks are constantly existing problems. The 5th generation of Gamma’s instruments aims at exploring the sources of these dangers, considering also NATO compatibility requirements.
The company’s products are developed for reliable operation even under extreme environmental conditions and are suitable for being used as a part of other makers systems.
Manufacturing and development are maintained by ISO 9001:2009 and NATO AQAP 2110:2006 quality control systems.

Class-2 threaded filters
The Respirator's class-2, EN threaded filter cartridges have metal housing made of aluminium alloy. The technical parameters of the filters comply with the provisions of the DIN EN 14387:2008 +A1, EN 143:2007, EN 148-1 as well as DIN 3181-3:1994 standards. All types are CE marked.
Class-1 threaded filters
The Respirator's class-1, EN threaded filter cartridges have metal housing made of aluminium alloy. The technical parameters of the filters comply with the provisions the EN 141, EN 143, EN 148-1 standards.
Escape Hoods ABEK1P3, Reactor P3, COP3
The escape hood is an individual breathing protection device, which consists of a rubber half mask - equipped with a combined filter – built in a hood, protecting the head of the wearer- Due to its special construction, the hood protects the eyes, the respiratory organs and the head against materials dangerous to the health and enables at the same time the wearing of correctional eyeglasses.
FA-3 half mask
The FA-3 half mask with changeable twin filters forms a respiratory protective equipment. The flexible face piece made from neoprene, which softly fit to the wearer's face without irritating the skin. The head and neck straps are flexible and easily adjustable. The simply assembled inhalation valves ensure very low breathing resistance, which made the physical work easier.
R13 fire-fighter protective suit
The R13 fire-fighter protective suit is a multi-layered outerwear clothing, consisting of a jacket and trousers that overlay each other with at least 30 cm. Their base fabric and colour are the same, providing equal protection of the covered body surface up to the specified maximum heat stress and during the specified maximum duration. The product meets requirements of the relevant EN 469 Standard.
Light NBC protective suit set with accessories
The Reguard® PE Tyvek® protective overall with its accessories provides the wearer with excellent protection against effects of the Bird Flu and Swine Flu during the related operations. It prevents the toxic substances from getting into respiratory organs and skin.

93M Individual Protective Suit
The 93 M Individual Protective Suit is a composite clothing system consisting of a 100% cotton based SARATOGA™ highly activated carbon filter layer manufactured by BLÜCHER GmbH and a treated outer fabric. The capacity of the extremely hard spherical absorbers (200gr/m2) combined with a suitable outer layer provides the wearer with the best protection against the effects of chemical warfare agents and other toxic substances in gas, vapour or liquid form. Its protection capability against CW gases has been proven in many tests carried out by TNO and meets the NATO requirements.
93M gasmask
93M is the Hungarian version of ARFA, developed by GIAT Industries and adopted by the French armed forces. The mask is equipped with a 40xl/7 connection thread to the filter, a voice transmitter and a drinking device. The body of the mask and the visor assembled with it is made of polyurethane, resistant to the aggressive agents and meeting the chemical protection and combat requirements. Available in four sizes the mask provides a very good airtight seal for different face shapes and insures good comfort for at least 24 hours, without causing stress.
R05 NBC filter
The 05 M NBC filter was developed in accordance with the NATO Triptych requirements for use against military chemical warfare agents /hydrogen cyanide, cyanogen chloride, chloropicrin, sarin, phosgene etc./. It's fitted with High-Efficiency Particulate Air /HEPA/ particle filter and a standard connection to EN 148-1 and STANAG 4155 requirements. It's intended for use with full face mask.
Chemical Splash Cover
A disposable, C-proof plastic splash cover, for instant protection and complement to ordinary charcoal combat suits, if drops of Chemical Warfare Agents are being spread from height.

Respirátor zrt. produces NBC filters for systems of collective protection on demand applicable for protection of vehicles, buildings.
