AEL SISTEMAS S.A., is a Brazilian company, located in Porto Alegre (RS) - Brazil, which develops and manufactures technological solutions for the areas of defense, space, homeland security and logistics.

Since the 1980s, the company is a supplier of avionics for the aircrafts of Brazilian Air Force (FAB), including F-5M, AM-X, Super Tucano, C-95 Bandeirante, and recently provided the UAV system - Hermes 450 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle also to FAB, and the Weapons Station to the new armored vehicle of Brazilian Army, the Guarani. It also has as customers prime companies as Embraer, Helibras, INPE among others.

Center of Excellence

Considered a "Center of Excellence" in defense technology, AEL SISTEMAS S.A. is part of Elbit Systems Ltd. and Embraer Defense and Security groups, world leaders in defense market, also currently it holds a full capabilty in defense and space areas. To attend the development of new project and manufacturing systems for the Armed Forces, AEL is quadrupling its existing built area. With the expansion, the company creates a Defense Systems Technology Center, investment that aligns with the Brazilian National Defense Strategy. The new facility will house the AEL innovative production technologies for the defense and security sector in Brazil.
