The UAEAC-CDF-033 Certification: AVIONES DE COLOMBIA LTDA.’s employees as well as its operations are certified by the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority (UAEAC- Unidad Administrativa Especial de Aeronáutica Civil). AVIONES DE COLOMBIA LTDA. is certified as an Aeronautical Repair Station (TAR – Taller Aeronáutico de Reparaciones). The company’s mechanics are certified as maintenance and repair technicians for the various services the company provides.

Propellers Overhaul
AVIONES DE COLOMBIA LTDA. carries-out under authorisation by the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority, propeller maintenance (test-bench, minor (line maintenance) and general repairs (overhaul)) of Type I (fixed pitch) and Type II (constant speed/non fixed pitch) propellers for brands such as SENSENICH, McCauley, Hamilton and Hartzell.
Structural Repairs
AVIONES DE COLOMBIA LTDA. is authorised by the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority to perform maintenance on aircraft structures of Type I, according to the aircraft manufacturer’s maintenance program, aircraft manuals and approved data, for aircraft of mixed construction with maximum takeoff weight of 5.700 kg.
Aircraft Line Maintenance
AVIONES DE COLOMBIA LTDA. is authorised by the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on engine systems, accessories and components, minor repairs and adjustments (line maintenance) on Type I aircraft (i.e. of mixed construction with maximum takeoff weight of 5.700 kg). The related authorisation covers several Cessna and Piper aircraft models.
Components Maintenance
AVIONES DE COLOMBIA LTDA. carries-out overhaul (test-bench, minor and general repairs) of numerous propeller engine (non-fixed/variable pitch) governors of the McCauley and Hartzell brands and of various models of McCauley accumulators/batteries. The company is authorised by the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority to conduct Type I (mechanical) repairs to the aforementioned components.
