PROYECTOS ESPECIALES INGENIERIA S.A., is a Colombian company located in Bogota and since 1996 dedicated to the design and development of UPS systems and other technology solutions.
PROYECTOS ESPECIALES INGENIERIA S.A. is a specialist in energy efficiency and power handling. The Company provides solutions for optimizing electrical systems and also offers services related to the design and installation of WLAN networks, structured cabling and electrical networks, as well as ground systems and computing centers.
The Company offers preventive and corrective maintenance services, as well as specialized technical assistance when required. For this, PROYECTOS ESPECIALES INGENIERIA S.A. is equipped with a certified laboratory in its headquarters in Bogota.
PROYECTOS ESPECIALES INGENIERIA S.A. is certified under ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14000 Quality Management Certifications for the design, manufacture, marketing and maintenance of support, control and power handling equipment, namely UPS's, voltage regulators, rectifiers, inverters, automatic transfers, power switching solutions, as well as structured cabling and wiring solutions. Additionally, the Company complies with the RETIE, NTC 3383 and NTC2540 standards for the voltage regulators.
Warranty, Maintenance & After Sales Services
Though its certified laboratory in Bogota and its regional centers in Medellin, Bucaramanga, Cucuta, Cali, Manizales, Pereira, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Monteria, Ibague and Pasto, the Company has managed to achieve national coverage. PROYECTOS ESPECIALES INGENIERIA S.A. is equipped with the appropriate tools and equipment to perform maintenance and repair services on equipment of renowned brands, with the support of trained personnel. In its regional centers, the Company has technical staff in the disposal of the customers making it easy to quickly meet any emergencies that may occur.
PROYECTOS ESPECIALES INGENIERIA S.A. ensures protection against defects in the materials used, provided that the equipment is installed, operated and maintained according to the instructions described in the manual. In the event that during the warranty period the equipment does present problems or defects, the client will inform PROYECTOS ESPECIALES INGENIERIA S.A. so that in mutual agreement the latter analyzes the situation and makes the appropriate adjustments or corrections. If the defect was not for reasons attributable to the materials or workmanship, but misuse of equipment, etc., the client will request PEI for the adjustment, repair or replacement of the defective item. If the defect is attributable to the materials or workmanship, the replacement of parts or equipment will be at no cost for the customer for the period covered by the warranty.

Triphase UPS 300
The new UPS Series PEI 300 have been designed to perform under the most difficult electrical conditions, offering complete protection and uninterrupted power supply during blackouts. This UPS is equipped with the latest design technologies, components, as well as monitoring software thus allowing easier communication with the Company’s maintenance department.
Rectifiers
PROYECTOS ESPECIALES INGENIERIA S.A.’s rectifiers-chargers, are efficient, easy to operate and require minimum maintenance. With specifications and characteristics surpassing the most demanding expectations, PEI’s rectifiers are designed to perform under the most difficult electrical conditions, offering total protection and security to their customers. Its design, phase control technology, constant current and float voltage makes this equipment more precise and robust.
Monophasic and Biphasic UPS Systems
PROYECTOS ESPECIALES INGENIERIA S.A.’s UPS Series, PEI 100 & PEI 200, have been designed to perform under the most demanding electrical conditions, offering total protection at all times, including when the power supply is cut off.
PEI’s UPS systems are equipped with the latest design technologies, components, as well as monitoring software thus allowing easier communication with the Company’s maintenance department.
