Chuguev Aircraft Repair Plant

Chuguev Aviation Repair Plant (state enterprise "CHARZ") is an Ukrainian state aircraft repair factory that is part of Ukroboronprom. The company carries out overhaul of L-39S, L-39ZA, L-39ZO aircraft, their units, units and equipment, auxiliary power units "SAPPHIRE-5", manufacture of ground support equipment, tools for repair and maintenance of aviation equipment.

"CHARZ" delivers the hardware and software complex "TEST L-39", designed to collect, display, decode and analyze parametric and voice information received from airborne sensors and aircraft devices in the process of testing. On the basis of a specialised training complex, GP "CHARZ" trains its customer's engineering, technical and flying staff for the operation of aviation equipment,while it provides retraining and practice in accordance with their specialties.

The enterprise performs:

• Overhaul of L-39S, L-39ZA, L-39ZO aircraft, their aggregates and equipment, auxiliary power plant “SAPFIR -5”, demilitarisation, completion of aircraft to L-396D and delivery to the customer (in accordance to civil aviation requirements), production of ground-support equipment, tools for the repairing and operating of aircraft
• Production and refurbishment of unmanned aircraft complex (UAC “STREPET”)
• Repair and modernization of all modifications of MiG-21, MiG-23 and L-39 aircraft , as well as repair of components, aggregates and aircraft systems of MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-27, MiG-29

Additionally:

• Practical modernization of the automatic flight parameters recording system - the replacement of the SARPP-12 with the on-board emergency flight information recorder BUR-4-1, which allows significant reduction of the time for decoding and processing information
• Carrying out of modifications of the airplane to the system of demonstration smoke installation for aerobatic teams
• Demilitarisation of aircraft L-39
