AEROSERVICIOS GENERALES C.A. (ARICA) initiated its activities in the late 70’s under the ownership of Mr. Sucre Perez B. Later on, in 1998 his son, Xavier Perez saw a business opportunity in aviation and reorganized the Company, so as to focus more on maintenance activities. ARICA’s hangar 7 is located at the international airport Jose Joaquin de Olmedo in Guayaquil, Ecuador and serves fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft.

ARICA has gained international presence through the representation of various recognized companies, such as Robinson Helicopter Company (RHC), Garmin International Inc., AVIDYNE Inc., Simplex Aerospace, D.A.C., Bose, David Clark Company, T.A.D., and Towcart.

Today ARICA leads the general aviation market in Ecuador and is one of the few authorized companies by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Ecuador to perform maintenance activities on R22, R44 and R66 aircraft. The Company offers a complete line of aircraft services, namely sale of aircraft, parts, installation services, line maintenance services, structural repairs, painting services, overhaul services, anti-corrosion treatment, weight and balance services, dynamic balancing services for aircraft and helicopters, among others.
