The World's Longest Running International Mortar Systems Meeting
New technology integration, improvements in manufacturing and enhanced deployment scope by infantry and artillery units, are contributing to the shift in mortars away from their traditional role, in favour of precise indirect and direct fires, leading to a resurgence in demand. The mortars market is expected to reach USD 120.98 Million by 2031.
To keep pace with modernisation efforts, several new mortar development programs are underway. These programmes aim to develop lighter, but deadlier mortar ammunition, with enhanced range and accuracy, and greater responsiveness by way of digital and automated fires.
The 11th annual Future Mortars Systems conference will examine the whole mortar system portfolio, with a focus on augmenting firepower and military prowess of mobile, independent, agile, and dispersed land forces, in today’s evolved battleground.
Join us as we address the themes of ‘technology’, ‘survivability’, and ‘maneuverability’ and how they relate to the persisting challenges in the field of mortar firepower.
Sessions will explore: mobility and flexibility of troops when transporting and operating equipment, amphibious operations, technological innovations to ensure overmatch in peer adversary war-fighting contexts.
