6.Contract description

The subject of the contract is the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of components for sixteen (16) solar PV off grid systems at several capacity levels to remote public schools in the Philippines including inverters, battery systems, and other electrical equipment. The schools are located in the provinces Bohol, Cebu and Palawan.

This supply contract is part of the project Renewable Energy for Livelihood and Youth (RELY), which is an endeavor funded by the European Union as part of the Access to Sustainable Energy Programme (ASEP).RELY was proposed by sequa gGmbH together with 2 Philippine co-applicants (Vivant Foundation, Inc. and Process Bohol, Inc.). The Contracting Authority for this procurement will be the Philippine partner organization Vivant Foundation, the CSR arm of Vivant Corporation, to assure sustainability of the project beyond the project duration. sequa gGmbH as the lead applicant is supporting and monitoring the entire procurement process.

7.Indicative number and titles of lots

3 lots:

Lot 1: Bohol Province project sites: Bien Unido (4 schools) and Talibon (2 schools);

Lot 2: Cebu Province project sites: Bantayan (2 schools) and Daanbantayan (2 schools);

Lot 3: Palawan Province project sites: San Vincente (4 schools) and Puerto Princesa (2 schools).
