The Contracting Authority is issuing this request for applications to participate in order to establish Panels for the provision of ad hoc ambulance services to transfer low and medium acuity patients between healthcare facilities (the “Panel”) for use by the Panel Clients. In summary, the Services comprise the provision of: (i) Ad hoc ambulance services to transfer low and medium acuity patients between healthcare facilities in accordance with Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council’s standards (the “PHECC Standards”); and, or, (ii) Dedicated ambulance services, within a specific geographic area or attached to a specific facility, to transfer low and medium acuity patients between healthcare facilities in accordance with PHECC Standards. This public procurement competition (the “Competition”) will be divided into 8 lots (each a “Lot”) as described in the Tender Documentation. Each Lot will result in a establishment of a separate Panel.

(ii) Dedicated Ambulance Services to Transfer Low and Medium Acuity Patients Between Healthcare Facilities within a specific geographic area or attached to a specific facility in accordance with PHECC Standards.

In advance of re-issuing the Tender the HSE is inviting interested Tenderers to attend a market briefing on Monday the 7th of March 2022 by way of a Microsoft Teams Meeting.

Interested Tenderers should send the eMail addresses of no more than 2 representatives by way of the eTenders Messaging system before 17:00 hrs on Friday the 4th of March 2022.

For the avoidance of doubt the HSE does not intend to utilise this Notice to shortern the Tender Response deadline.
