The Contracting Entity intends to procure EITHER a complete turnkey contract (i.e the supply of one Fuel Oil fired shell boiler, the supply of one (or more) electrically powered shell boiler(s), and all associated ancillary equipment, designs, site work, and commissioning to achieve a complete turnkey solution.) (Lot 1); OR alternatively at its discretion to separately procure supply only contracts as detailed in Lot 2 (i.e supply and commissioning of one Fuel Oil fired shell boiler and all required ancillary components (e.g. burners, deaerator, pumps, valves, control system, etc.). This is to include all design work to enable a full site installation to be carried out under Lot 4 and Lot 3 i.e supply and commissioning of one (or more) electrically powered shell boiler(s) and all ancillary components (e.g. switchgear, deaerator, pumps, valves, control system, etc.). This is to include all design work to enable a full site installation to be carried out under Lot 4. with a single separately awarded design and build contract (Lot 4. i.e. build out of all designs received under Lots 2 and 3 to achieve a complete operable installation. It also requires the design and build of any supporting structures and civil works. ). Applicants are welcome to express an interest in any individual lot or any combination of lots. At the time of issuing, the Contracting Entity favours complete turnkey solutions (i.e. Lot 1),, but recognises that there may be advantages to a split contract approach. The procurement strategy will be finalised before issuing any Requests for Tender.
