Heritage Ford assists customers by comparing popular Ford models with competitors
SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt., June 28, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Heritage Ford has been creating model research pages every month to try and aid its prospective customers when it comes to comparing Ford models with other models from competitors. This month, Heritage Ford published research and comparison pages that looked at the 2017 Ford Escape and 2017 Ford Focus.
The 2017 Ford Escape was compared to the 2017 Chevrolet Equinox by Heritage Ford. Both models start at a similar price, can tow up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped, and have available features like leather seats. Heritage Ford notes, though, that the 2017 Escape has three available engines whereas the Chevrolet Equinox has two to choose from. In addition to the standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine in the Ford Escape, it can also be equipped with a 1.5-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine or a 2.0-liter twin-scroll EcoBoost engine that outputs 245 horsepower and has 275 lb-ft of torque.
Heritage Ford also took the time to compare the 2017 Ford Focus to one of its own competitors with its 2017 Ford Focus vs 2017 Mazda3 model research and comparison page. Both the 2017 Ford Focus and 2017 Mazda3 can be purchased as a sedan or hatchback model, come standard with 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engines and give the option between a manual and automatic transmission. The standard engine in the 2017 Ford Focus can achieve a 38 MPG on the highway rating, which is greater than that of the Mazda3. Heritage Ford also points out that the 2017 Ford Focus can be equipped to output 350 horsepower from the Focus RS trim, which is greater than the 184 max horsepower available in the 2017 Mazda3.
