DynCorp International Awarded 12-Month Extension to Continue Supporting U.S. Army Under LOGCAP IV
The U.S. Army Sustainment Command awarded DynCorp International (DI) a 12-month task order contract modification that began July 1 to continue providing base life support and maintenance services in Afghanistan under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV contract. The modification is valued at $217 million for services requiring more than 2,100 personnel at four locations. DI’s outstanding performance in delivering unequaled support services to U.S. forces across Afghanistan on this task order spans more than eight years with a total contract value of $6.7 billion.

Under this task order, DI provides critical operations and maintenance support, including but not limited to facilities management, electrical power, water, sewage and waste management, HAZMAT, laundry operations, billeting, material handling equipment operations and maintenance, firefighting services, transportation motor pool operations, dining and food service operations, Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR), airfield operations and container yard management and movement control operations.

The LOGCAP IV contract is the Army component of the Department of Defense’s efforts to award contracts with U.S. companies for a broad range of logistics and support to U.S. and allied forces during combat, peacekeeping, humanitarian and training operations.
