Speed of Swift911(TM) Emergency Alert System Helps Find Missing Child in Indiana

MAHWAH, N.J., Aug. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- SwiftReach Networks, a leading provider of emergency notification and incident management solutions, announced the successful use of its Swift911(TM) emergency notification system to aid in the search for a missing child from Fort Wayne, Indiana on August 10, 2017.

When a 4-year-old girl was abducted from her home, local officials issued a missing child alert through the Swift911(TM) emergency notification system. As reported by Fort Wayne's NBC, the Swift911(TM) alert was sent to over 1,500 residents a full 40 minutes before the statewide Amber Alert was deployed.

Shortly after the alert was issued, the child was safely dropped off at a local establishment after dispatchers received more than 50 phone calls from residents with information. According to County Commissioner Nelson Peters, the Swift911(TM) system "gave people the opportunity to get a head start on finding this little girl."

"At SwiftReach our mission is to provide fast and reliable emergency communications that keep residents safe and informed," said Kevin Alward, CEO of SwiftReach Networks. "We're thankful that the strength and speed of our dependable network was able to help bring this missing child home safety."
