African carriers post largest year-on-year increase in freight demand

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for global air freight markets showing that demand, measured in freight tonne kilometers (FTKs), increased by 11.4% in July 2017 compared to the same period a year ago, with African carriers seeing huge growth.
