RCare Announces Product Growth, Expands into New Office

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- RCare, Inc., the creator of the most advanced nurse call system and monitoring technology products for senior housing communities, announced today that they have expanded into larger headquarters in Rochester, NY. RCare continues to expand its international distribution footprint, its product offerings and its support and development staff. More office and warehouse space is mandated to allow for continued growth.

RCare has been expanding, innovating and building products for every step in the continuum of care.

RCare's most recent addition, the GeoPendant, enables caregivers to designate "safe zones" for residents and send notifications should the wearer exit their custom-defined zone. These pendants, which also function as push-button alerts, and which allow care staff to pinpoint the resident's location, are especially helpful for mixed populations with some wander-risk residents. The wearers feel more freedom and independence, while the caregivers know their residents are safe.

Another recent product, the BCube, takes the company's flagship nurse call system, and scales and prices it for the smallest communities. The result is a system with all the high-end monitoring and reporting features, but without the large price tag.

RCare strives to be comprehensive, customizable and interoperable, making their solution flexible to many needs in long-term care. RCare has integrated with leaders in the senior housing market such as Accutech's wander management system, PointClickCare's EHR solution, and GrandCare's senior remote telehealth & socialization monitoring offerings.

This makes RCare a more attractive choice for potential customers who already use one or more of these other popular products.

RCare's holistic platform is designed to deliver value for every single individual in every level of senior care. In fact, RCare has launched a new line of environmental sensors to specifically improve the lives of facility managers and maintenance personnel, responsible for the comfort and safety of residents and staff. Using RCare's integrated universal transmitters, facility managers can have even greater flexibility and control to customize alerts from any contact closure device, including third party devices. If a toilet or faucet overflows, or if the temperature is uncomfortable, facility staff can intervene before the situation becomes a crisis.

RCare will be showcasing their latest offerings at the ACHA/NCAL Convention and Expo in Las Vegas, and the LeadingAge Annual Meeting and Expo in New Orleans, in October and November.
