TIBCO to Host Sold-Out Energy Forum in Houston

PALO ALTO, Calif., Sept. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- TIBCO Software Inc., a global leader in integration, API management, and analytics, announced today that the annual TIBCO Energy Forum will take place December 12-13, 2017 at The Westin Houston Memorial City. With more than 650 attendees, the sold-out event will bring together global industry experts to share the latest digital innovations and discuss best practices for implementing interconnected business intelligence tools within the energy sector.

Initially planned for September 2017, the forum was postponed following the effects of Hurricane Harvey in the greater Houston area.

"We are committed to supporting the local Houston community and looking forward to hosting our TIBCO customers and partners in the city," said Thomas Been, chief marketing officer, TIBCO. "As the role of analytics continues to increase, our tools aim to deliver Connected Intelligence to our customers, which we do by helping interconnect data to drive business intelligence decisions and create valuable insight. This sold-out event is a testament to the demand for smart analytics to power energy operations."

TIBCO Energy Forum attendees will gain unique access to energy sector use cases for analytics solutions during in-depth educational sessions and hear firsthand from leading industry experts in targeted breakout sessions. Attendees will:

    -- Discover how oil and gas companies are using analytics to optimize
        drilling, completions and production;
