The company is organized by four business groups: Aerospace, Combat Systems, Information Systems and Technology and Marine Systems.

Aerospace

The Aerospace group is at the forefront of the business-jet market. The Company is well known for its superior Gulfstream aircraft and industry-leading product service and support, as well as fixed-based operations and aircraft completions for other original equipment manufacturers. The group has two business units: Gulfstream, Jet Aviation.

Combat Systems

The Combat Systems group is a global leader in designing, manufacturing and modernizing some of the world’s most recognized land combat machines. The Company produces main battle tanks, tracked combat vehicles and light armored vehicles, as well as a broad range of high-performance weapons systems and munitions. The group has three business units: European Land Systems, Land Systems, Ordnance and Tactical Systems.

IS&T

Information Systems and Technology develops, improves and secures the systems of sophisticated defense, aerospace and communications products. The Company has an established global presence in large-scale IT networks and systems, secure communications systems, command and control systems, imagery sensors and cyber products. The group has two business units: Information Technology, Mission Systems.

Marine Systems

The Marine Systems group builds complex ships. The Company designs, builds and repairs nuclear-powered submarines, surface combatants, auxiliary and combat-logistics ships and commercial Jones Act ships. The Company's shipyards are located on both U.S. coasts. The group has three business units: Bath Iron Works, Electric Boat, NASSCO.
