Treehouse appoints 12 members to Young Professionals Board to support youth in foster care

SEATTLE, Oct. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Treehouse, a Seattle-based nonprofit which has dramatically increased graduation rates for youth in foster care, today announces 12 new members to its Young Professionals Board (YPB).

With the new roster also comes changes to the YPB's Executive Leadership Team. Mathew Lane, formerly an Executive Chair, has been elected President. Currently a compliance manager at Wave, Lane earned a bachelor's degree from Seattle University and a master's degree from the University of Washington.

YPB members Sehee Thomas and Chandler Gayton will serve as Executive Chairs. Thomas is a senior recruiter at Amazon and earned her bachelor's degree and law degree from the University of Iowa. Gayton is a legislative aide for King County Councilmember Larry Gossett and a real estate broker at Windemere Real Estate. He earned a bachelor's degree from Simon Fraser University.

The select group of 32 emerging leaders on the YPB represent a diverse range of professions and affiliations in three key areas: community engagement, legislative advocacy/education and marketing/social networking.

        from the University of Puget Sound and law degree from the University of
        Washington Law School.
    --  Sarah Christie, Senior Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP, bachelor's degree
        from Santa Clara University.
    --  Bart Cornelissen, Senior Finance Manager at Bill & Melinda Gates
        Foundation, bachelor's degree in business administration from Rotterdam
        School of Management in the Netherlands.
    --  Justin Holzwarth, Program Manager Evangelist at Microsoft, bachelor's
        degree from Wesleyan University and MBA from the Tuck School of Business
        at Dartmouth.
    --  Justin Keogh, Project Manager at Deloitte Consulting, LLP, bachelor's
        degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
    --  Allison Lombardo, Integrated Marketing Manager at GoDaddy, bachelor's
        degree from the University of Washington.
    --  Maddie March, Senior Associate at KPMG, LLP, bachelor's degree from
        Washington State University and master's degree in accounting from the
        University of Washington.
    --  Chris Nee, Manager/Management Consultant at PwC Advisory Services, LLP,
        bachelor's degree from the University of Washington.
    --  Lee Schindler, Partner at Perkins Coie, bachelor's degree from
        University of Texas and law degree from Harvard Law School.
    --  Sam Torres, Manager of Partnership Sales at Seattle Sounders FC,
        bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.
