Two Windsor Facilities Recognized at 2017 National Quality Award Ceremony & Celebration
LAS VEGAS, Nov. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Encanto Palms Assisted Living, an assisted living community located in Phoenix, AZ, and Windsor Gardens Healthcare Center of Hayward, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in Hayward, CA, received the 2017 Bronze - Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The ceremony took place at the annual National Quality Award Ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Implemented by AHCA/NCAL in 1996, the National Quality Award Program was created to recognize long-term care and post-acute providers across the nation that have demonstrated a commitment to providing and improving the quality of care for their residents.

The award program has three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Providers begin the quality improvement process at the Bronze level, where they develop an organizational profile with fundamental performance elements such as vision and mission statements and key strengths and challenges. Bronze applicants must also demonstrate their ability to implement a performance improvement system.
