Florida Commerce Park Announces Approvals

INDIANTOWN, Fla., Nov. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Martin County Board of County Commissioners issued final approvals to Skyfarm Strategic Capital for its 100 acre Planned Unit Development (PUD) industrial site in Indiantown, Florida. The project known as the Florida Commerce Park is centrally located on the Beeline Highway (State Highway 710) in Martin County, Florida.

"This is the first approved 'permit & shovel-ready' industrial project in Martin County" according to Kevin Powers of Indiantown Realty. "The County and the soon-to-be incorporated Village of Indiantown, clearly understand that 'time is money' and becoming more competitive in regional economic development is critical to attracting jobs and new business," reports Powers. "We are excited to begin the process of marketing Florida Commerce Park to business and industry."

Advantages offered by Florida Commerce Park include:

-- Parcels delivered with site work and utility infrastructure already
        completed.
-- Immediate commencement of vertical construction after issuance of
        building
-- permits (typically 30 days from application). This can shave two full
        years off a
    -- development project timeline.
-- Site is rail-serviceable from adjacent to 4,000 ft. of CSX rail.
-- Strategically located in Indiantown offering the following benefits:
-- Central state location, protected from all severe coastal weather
            events
-- High elevation eliminates flood risk
-- Abundant natural gas (FPU), redundant electrical supply (FP&L) and
            high bandwidth fiber optic bundle.
-- Modern four-lane highway access to all major Florida transportation
hubs and cities (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Tampa, Sarasota,
            Orlando)
        -- Skilled, local work force
-- Comprehensive local amenities minutes away in central Indiantown

Commenting on the impact from Hurricane Irma, Powers reported that "the severe weather had a negligible impact on Florida Commerce Park. It's protected location, elevation and extremely effective master drainage systems all combined to prevent any storm damage to Park property."

Florida Commerce Park is a development project of Skyfarm Strategic Capital. Engineering services were provided by Melissa Corbett P.E. of the Milcor Group. The Park's General Contractor was Rick Mancil, Mancil's Tractor Service and the project marketing partner is Indiantown Realty.
