WHAT:

-- Keynote speaker Chad Sweet (Co-Founder & CEO, The Chertoff Group)
delivered a presentation on the growing need for top tier security
strategies in an evolving cyber landscape, citing that only two-thirds
of current directors report having knowledge of the risks of a security
breach. He also mentioned that cybersecurity regulation is not a matter
of "if," but "when," and therefore, now is the time for utilities to
        adopt modern technology.
-- The crowd was also joined by DC PSC Commissioner Willie Phillips
(@wlphillips) for a presentation on a regulator's perspective on cloud
services, in regard to their eligibility to earn a rate of return.
Commissioner Phillips notably emphasized that the cloud business model
must change, and tools like cloud computing will be the main driver of
        these changes.
-- SCE announced its plans to work with SAP to move the majority of its
        systems to the cloud.
