ACT-IAC Announces 2017 Government and Industry Trailblazer Award Recipients

FAIRFAX, Va., Dec. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC), the premier public-private partnership dedicated to advancing government through the application of information technology, announced the recipients for the new Trailblazer Award at their NexUS Forum event.

The ACT-IAC NexUS Trailblazer Award recognizes the contributions and accomplishments of young professionals in government and industry. The recipients of the award have contributed to the NexUS Community and ACT-IAC in a significant way over the last year and are passionate about the mission of advancing government.

This year's Industry Trailblazer Award was awarded to Brittany Burkhart, Senior Associate at Wolf Den Associates. The Government Trailblazer Award was awarded to Chelsea Rainier, IT Specialist with the United States Department of Homeland Security.
