REGENESIS Welcomes Dr. John Freim & James Harvey To Growing Team Of Environmental Scientific Experts, Expanding Expertise In Colloid Materials Science

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., Jan. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- REGENESIS, the recognized global leader in in situ soil and groundwater remediation technologies, is proud to welcome John Freim, PhD and James Harvey, formerly of OnMaterials LLC. Dr. Freim is well-known throughout the environmental industry for his work in developing break-through in situ chemical reduction (ISCR) technologies successfully employed throughout the environmental remediation industry. Mr. Harvey is a leader in the design and application of colloidal zero valent iron remediation technologies and has supported engineering firms throughout North America in successful project application.

In their new roles, REGENESIS will look to Dr. Freim to expand its technology offering by developing new, cutting-edge ISCR amendments. Throughout his career, Dr. Freim has published and presented at many leading conferences and symposia and has been awarded numerous grants through the EPA, NIH, DOE, NSF, USAF, and US Missile Defense Agency. His background in the processing and synthesis of engineered materials, including metal and ceramic nanopowders, eventually led to his founding of OnMaterials in 2000. The author of 8 patents, Dr. Freim's success in developing new and effective metals technologies is a strong complement to REGENESIS' existing Research and Development team and its product development pipeline.

Dr. Freim and Mr. Harvey's backgrounds in colloid milling processes will also enable REGENESIS to establish a world-class, state-of-the-art micro-milling operation dedicated to the production of advanced environmental technologies.

Scott Wilson, President and CEO of REGENESIS, explains "Dr. John Freim has established a strong reputation in the industry for developing effective and trusted in situ chemical reduction technologies. No one in the business has a more technically credible reputation than John." Wilson continues, "John Freim and James Harvey are simply the best in the business, hands down. They are trusted by engineering firms across the country for designing and implementing cost-effective solutions, we are thrilled to have John and James join our team."

Shares Dr. Freim, "Joining REGENESIS is an exciting opportunity. REGENESIS has a demonstrated commitment to technology development that is respected around the world. Being part of REGENESIS will enable me to continue to push forward new environmental applications of colloid science on a global scale. Mr. Harvey adds, "Over the years, I have always held REGENESIS in high regard and believe being a part of the REGENESIS team will enable me to provide clients with the widest range of resources available to address their remediation project sites."
