ZubiaLive and CCRM Extend PCOS Live Video Campaign Through February 15, 2018

NEW YORK, Jan. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ZubiaLive, the health and wellness live-streaming, interactive video community, developed a "$10-for-10 minutes" video promotion to raise awareness and money for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). During the campaign, which has now been extended through February 15, 2018, people impacted by PCOS can share a live-streaming, 10-minute video on Zubia, using their phone or laptop. After streaming their story, each person receives a $10 Amazon eGift card and an additional $10 is donated to PCOS Challenge: The National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association, the leading nonprofit organization in the fight against PCOS. This campaign is sponsored by The Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine (CCRM).

"Our mission at ZubiaLive is to open up access to current health and wellness information using live, interactive video," says Bryan Butvick, CEO of Zubia. "PCOS is a topic that is often undiagnosed and can be a lonely affliction facing women and girls of all ages. We have a growing library of PCOS videos from the perspective of patients, caregivers, medical professionals and even family members. Hopefully these stories will give tips or inspiration to other women struggling with this disorder."

Sasha Ottey, Executive Director of PCOS Challenge, appreciates the effort. "We are grateful to Zubia and to CCRM for sponsoring this unique video fundraising campaign and to helping shine a light on the serious issues facing women and their families affected by PCOS. One of the key issues affecting PCOS research, diagnosis and care is the lack of awareness and education around PCOS. Much of our work at PCOS Challenge is advocating for patients and creating opportunities for patient voices to be heard and respected in order to improve health outcomes and quality of life for those impacted by PCOS. Our doors at PCOS Challenge are always open to anyone who is looking for PCOS-related resources."

All of the videos can be found at www.zubialive.com and on ZubiaLive's YouTube channel. Butvick says, "We will extend this campaign as long as there is interest. As more people share their knowledge, the PCOS community becomes a little stronger. If you would like to participate, please visit www.zubialive.net/PCOS for more information.
