Emerald Health Information Systems Transitions to Harris Healthcare

HERNDON, Va., Jan. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Harris Healthcare, the largest business unit in Harris Computer System's Healthcare Division today announces Emerald Health Information Systems will transition from MediSolution, Harris Healthcare's sister company under the Harris umbrella, to Harris Healthcare Clinical Solutions.

Harris Healthcare and MediSolution have a long history of working together to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Over time, it became clear that the Emerald solutions formed a natural accompaniment to Harris Healthcare's Clinical Solutions suite, including QCPR, its electronic health record (EHR); Novus ClinDoc for clinical documentation; Novus Meds for medication management; and AcuityPlus, for acuity-based staffing.

In addition, Harris Healthcare serves all of North America, Europe and much of the Middle East whereas MediSolution has a primary focus on the Canadian market. The Emerald solutions are perfectly suited to this larger market as well, and the company has had tremendous success--the latest being a new client in Saudi Arabia.
