Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles pits 2018 Atlas against 2018 GMC Acadia
LOS ANGELES, April 6, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- In an effort to assist car shoppers, Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles has produced a litany of model research pages. Many of these pages are built specifically for one Volkswagen model. Those pages feature in-depth information on things like pricing, fuel economy, performance and design. A new page, however, compares one of the newest Volkswagen models to a top competitor.
The comparison states that it is being fair by comparing the base trim level of each vehicle. The page features a detailed and neat table that includes categories like horsepower and safety awards.
The dealer's research found that the Atlas has a base horsepower rating of 235 whereas the Acadia is powered by 193 horses. An eight-speed automatic transmission is also found on the Atlas while the Acadia features a six-speed automatic.
Concerning safety awards from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the Atlas is lauded for being named a top safety pick while the Acadia has no awards from the IIHS.
Additionally, the comparison highlights each SUV's bumper to bumper warranty. The Atlas' is for 72 months or 72,000 miles. Meanwhile, the Acadia's is just for 36 months or 36,000 miles.
Customers should contact Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles for more information on model research. The dealer can be reached by phone at 888-876-1074 or by visiting in person at 1900 South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles.
