Domtar Corporation Gives Away Free Tree Seedlings to the Ashdown, AR Community to Celebrate Earth Week
Domtar Corporation (NYSE: UFS) (TSX: UFS) announced that employee volunteers from the company’s pulp and paper manufacturing mill in Ashdown, AR handed out free tree seedlings to the public today in honor of Earth Week. Domtar employees gave away various tree seedling species from 10:00am-2:00pm on the Little River County Courthouse lawn. Domtar makes a wide variety of everyday products from sustainable wood fiber, and is one of the world’s largest producers of a complete line of absorbent hygiene solutions and an innovator in absorbent technology. Domtar’s pulp and paper mill in Ashdown employs 800 people in the local community.

The free tree seedlings species include: Loblolly Pine, Northern Red Oak, Bald Cypress, Blackgum, Beautification and Wildlife bundles.
