Cologix Supports Hybrid Network Connections to Google Cloud with Cologix Cloud Connect for Google Cloud Partner Interconnect
Cologix helps extend customers' networks to Google Cloud's global network
DENVER, April 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Cologix(TM) a network and cloud neutral interconnection and data center company today announced support for Google Cloud's Partner Interconnect, a service from Google Cloud that allows customers to connect to Google Cloud Platform from anywhere.
Partner Interconnect is a new product in the Google Cloud Interconnect family. Last September, Google announced Dedicated Interconnect which provides higher-speed and lower cost connectivity than VPN, and has become the go-to solution to connect on premise data centers with the cloud.
With Partner Interconnect, customers can now choose Cologix to provide connectivity from their facility to the nearest Google edge point of presence.
