The office opens on Thurs., May 17 and is located in Dodge County - which has been designated as a dental health professional shortage area by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The new practice offers extended hours: Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. as well as select Saturdays. Walk-in and emergency patients are welcome.

Alan Hergenrader, D.D.S., who received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska, leads the new practice. Dr. Hergenrader and his team will provide dental services ranging from dentures and preventive care, to general dentistry and restoration.
