Jacqui Murphy and Caitlyn McCaughran of Auvik Networks Recognized as CRN's 2018 Women of the Channel

The duo commend Auvik's support for career development, diversity, and awesomeness

WATERLOO, Ontario, May 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Auvik Networks' Jacqui Murphy, vice president, marketing, and Caitlyn McCaughran, market engagement specialist, to its prestigious 2018 Women of the Channel list. CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise, and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.

Murphy--who is recognized on this list for the second year running--leads Auvik's high-performing, data-driven SaaS marketing and business development teams. She's responsible for marketing operations, demand generation and online marketing, content marketing, event management, business development, and sales / channel enablement.

Market engagement specialist McCaughran leverages her knowledge of the channel to form mutually beneficial relationships with both MSPs and vendors. She has been instrumental in boosting Auvik's industry profile, helping the company participate in over 60 channel events in 2018. She sits on CompTIA's Advancing Women in IT Community board.

"As Auvik continues its growth, my main focus is enabling our marketing and business development teams," said Murphy. "Auvik is full of motivated, strategic, intelligent, creative people so--while I work to make sure our systems and processes are designed to scale--the team has proven it's capable of taking the market by storm."

Auvik, a provider of network management software for MSPs, has grown rapidly over the past year. Since 2017, the company has more than doubled its partner base thanks in part to the marketing team's methodical, measured approach to lead generation.

The executives on the annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers, and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision, and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.

"This accomplished group of leaders is steadily guiding the IT channel into a prosperous new era of services-led business models and deep, strategic partnerships," said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. "CRN's 2018 Women of the Channel list honors executives who are driving channel progress through a number of achievements--exemplary partner programs, innovative product development and marketing, effective team-building, visionary leadership and accelerated sales growth--as well as advocacy for the next generation of women channel executives."

The 2018 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at http://www.CRN.com/wotc.
