Baltimore Biotech Company Awarded for Supporting Community College Students in Entering the Biotech Industry
PathSensors received the Community Partnership Award from Baltimore Community College for 8 years of a successful partnership through giving biotech program students hands-on experience
BALTIMORE, May 25, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As a result of a strong nine eight-year collaboration between Pathsensors and Baltimore City Community College (BCCC), the Baltimore-based biotechnology solutions and the environmental testing company received the Community Partnership Award on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
Throughout the course of this relationship, PathSensors has brought on 20 BCCC students as interns and hired two to staff positions. "You have given each student the opportunity to learn hands-on skills and apply their coursework and we are very proud of this partnership," said Amrita Madabushi, PhD, assistant professor of biology at BCCC.
