PHOENIX, May 30, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Wamba Technologies, who has been in the press recently surrounding their eSports program, has announced that they will be releasing their first video game BETA by August 1, 2018. The match 3 game, done in a similar style to Candy Crush, is called Waffle Smash and features a myriad of breakfast themed missions.

From collecting sugar cubes for your coffee to defeating weeds which are threatening your strawberry supply for those oh so scrumptious Belgian Waffles (you know the kind...light and fluffy, flaky golden-brown waffles with that melt in your mouth whipped cream and strawberries bursting with juicy sweetness at the first bite), Waffle Smash is truly a family-friendly game with fun for all ages.

The Waffle Smash game designers include Andy Ashcraft (God of War 2, God of War 3, Grand Turismo), Marvin Sunderland (Dino Studios), and Gary Denham (CEO of Wamba Technologies, Soccer Mom executive producer (movie, 2008)).

"Working with Marvin and Andy has been a blast!" said Denham. "Andy is such a great guy. It still blows my mind that a guy with his background is working hand in hand with us to design this game. If this were the movies, it's the equivalent of working with Michael Bay or Antoine Fuqua. The guy is just amazing to work with and I feel very privileged to have him on the team. Marvin is a diamond as far as I'm concerned. The Waffle Smash concept was his idea and he created the initial game. We acquired the game and Marvin back in December. When I saw the game for the first time, my first thought was 'this is a great concept and I think we can turn this into a hit with the right help'.

With Andy and a handful of Grand Canyon University animation graduates, we have really come a long way with the game and are looking forward to unveiling the beta version by August 1st. We are anticipating being done with the beta by the middle of June and then will spend a few weeks in testing prior to the official release and marketing. Presently, the original version is available on Google Play Store under Waffle Smash Beta. When players see what we have transformed that into, I think they will be very excited to play this game.

We have a new marketing capability which will allow us to deliver ads directly to people's mobile devices in a way which no one else has done yet. We are counting on this exclusive visibility to really drive game sales in a meaningful way."

Between video games, eSports, and a rumored VR play, Wamba Technologies is a name which should be on everybody's minds very soon. Look out for more great things to come from this company over the next 12 months!
