Armored Things Announces $5.5 Million Institutional Seed Round

BOSTON, July 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Armored Things, a company that uses Internet of Things devices and their data to keep large venues safe, announced today that it has completed a $5.5 million institutional seed round of financing. Glasswing Ventures and iNovia Capital led the investment round with participation from additional existing and new investors, including MassVentures, an early stage, Massachusetts-focused venture fund.

This new capital will help the company ramp up product development efforts around the
unique opportunity to design a predictive cyber-physical incident response platform. The
company will also increase sales and marketing efforts in advance of the initial product release slated for early next year.
