Saab and Project Fibonacci® Foundation Host Event for Future Innovators

SYRACUSE, N.Y., July 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Saab is partnering with the Project Fibonacci® Foundation to host approximately 60 Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) students for presentations, meetings with Saab engineers and technologists, and a tour of the company's Radar and Sensor development and production facilities.

The Technology and Innovation event will take place on Thursday, July 26(th) at Saab Defense and Security USA's Sensor Systems Division facilities in East Syracuse, New York and will feature tours of the 100,000 square foot R&D and manufacturing facility as well as introducing the students to a wide variety of careers available in the STEAM fields.

Student participants will observe a variety of work areas in the facility, including development labs, high tech production floors, test labs, and open office collaboration spaces. They will also have the opportunity to speak directly to employees from over 20 different functional areas, giving first-hand perspective on how Saab teams work together to solve our customers' most challenging issues.
