2019 Ford Ranger to come to North American markets

NORWOOD, Mass., July 24, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The 2019 Ford Ranger has finally stepped into the light after Ford's announcement that the Ford Ranger would be returning to the North-American mid-sized market. While the new Ford Ranger might have the same overall appearance of the F-Series of pickup trucks, but it's not the same vehicle according to Ford Engineers.

The new 2019 Ford Ranger will sit on a fully boxed and high-strength steel frame, which will feature six cross members for added stability and strength. Additionally, its body will have been tested to the same standards of durability and strength as the F-Series, giving it exceptional resistance. This is according to the same Ford engineers that designed the vehicle.

Additionally, the new 2019 Ford Ranger will feature a 2.3-liter direct-injection four-cylinder engine with a twin-scroll turbocharger. While the official horsepower and torque of the new 2019 Ford Ranger have not yet been released, it is known that the Ford Ranger's engine will be mated to the 10-speed automatic transmission, co-developed with General Motors. This will allow for greater overall acceleration and power-handling.

The new 2019 Ford Ranger also features Ford's Terrain Management system, which was originally found on the Ford Raptor. This terrain management system has four modes available for drivers to enjoy including Normal, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Ruts, and Sand. This allows drivers to tackle just about anything that the world might toss at them.
