Carr Fire Evacuees: U-Haul Offering 30 Days of Free Self-Storage
REDDING, Calif., July 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Three U-Haul Companies across the Pacific Northwest are offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents affected by the Carr Fire in Shasta County.
Dozens of homes have been destroyed and thousands of residents have been ordered to evacuate.
"The Carr Fire has engulfed more than 44,000 acres so far and our brave firefighters are having a hard time getting it contained," stated Chris Watson, U-Haul Company of Northwest California president.
