Hylan Appoints Industry Veteran Joe Cecin as Chief Operating Officer
HOLMDEL, N.J., July 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hylan, a market leading provider of specialized communications engineering and construction services, announced today that Joe Cecin has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of The Hylan Group. An industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including both the service provider and engineering and construction sectors, Mr. Cecin is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all companies under the Hylan umbrella, including Hylan Datacom & Electrical, Down Under Construction, Western Utility, Arcturus Telecom, and Hylan West. Importantly, Mr. Cecin will have primary responsibility for the overall integration of acquired businesses.
Mr. Cecin brings extensive operating experience to Hylan. In previous roles, he has served as EVP of Operations at Unitek Global Services, President of Pinnacle Wireless, and COO of RCN Corporation. He has extensive experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, having served as Group Head of the Telecom Investment Banking Practice at BB&T Capital Markets. He has also served on the board of directors of four public companies in the telecom industry.
As Hylan's COO, Mr. Cecin will focus on integrating and operating the company's acquisitions as it continues to grow its portfolio of services for communications infrastructure, electrical contracting, telecom and electrical maintenance, utility construction, emergency/disaster recovery response teams, and DAS and small cell installation, nationally.
