Threat Sketch CEO Rob Arnold to Participate in WSJ PRO Cybersecurity Conference

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Sept. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Threat Sketch is honored to announce that Rob Arnold, founder and CEO, will be participating in the upcoming Wall Street Journal PRO Cybersecurity Small Business Academy, October 15-16, 2018, in Dana Point, Calif. This two-day conference is designed to provide small businesses owners the knowledge, skills and hands-on training to prevent and prepare for cybersecurity attacks.

Arnold is scheduled to participate in the session "How to Build a Cyber Advisory Board," which will provide an outline of the skills and experience small business executives should look for in candidates when building a cyber advisory board, an invaluable group when it comes to defending against and responding to cyber attacks. Arnold brings a wealth of personal experience with this topic, having served on many cyber advisory boards as well as recently forming the Triad Cyber Roundtable, a group of experts from various fields who conduct panels to educate the local community on the importance of cybersecurity. Arnold will be joined by Mary Beth Borgwing, President, Standish Cyber Corp.

"I am honored to be a part of this Small Business Academy focusing on cybersecurity," Arnold said. "When I founded Threat Sketch three years ago, it was my goal to provide services and tools for small business owners and executives who I find often lag behind large corporations when it comes to cybersecurity prevention and preparedness. This conference aligns with my own goals, by focusing on equipping small businesses with the insight, practical guidance and training to build and manage a cybersecurity strategy."

In addition to the cyber advisory board session, participants at the Wall Street Journal Pro Cybersecurity Small Business Academy will also be able to attend sessions on topics including how to choose a cybersecurity vendor, how to work with law enforcement, what types of cyber insurance are necessary and how to protect your company financially. Attendees will have the chance to hear first-hand from business owners who were hacked and their experiences in dealing with the aftermath. The conference also includes hands-on training through FBI-affiliated InfraGard and other subject matter experts.
