BAE Systems Names Guy Montminy as President of Platforms & Services Sector

BAE Systems has named Guy Montminy as president of the Platforms & Services (P&S) sector, effective October 1. With this appointment, Montminy has also joined the senior leadership team of BAE Systems, Inc., led by president and CEO Jerry DeMuro.

Montminy has held several executive leadership roles in his more than 30 years with BAE Systems, most recently serving as senior vice president and deputy general manager for the Platforms & Services sector. Just prior to this assignment, he served in a similar role within the Electronic Systems sector. Montminy previously held a number of Finance leadership positions across several businesses, culminating in his promotion to senior vice president of Finance for BAE Systems, Inc. in January 2014. Earlier in his career, he also served in functional leadership roles in new business capture, technology licensing, divestitures and acquisitions. Montminy holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts and a master’s degree in accountancy from Bentley College.

Montminy succeeds Erwin Bieber, who will remain an advisor to the company until his retirement in 2019.
